February in Pokolbin
I disagree that dawn
And dusk are the
Supreme parts of day.
Sunset swallowed whole,
Dark surrendered to morning,
Glories the poets extol.
Call me elementary,
Past the blazing peak,
My day’s epiphany is
After lunch, after sunlight
Licks the moisture off trees,
After birds have had their
Fill, fall silent, and
All is clear again.
